Definitions: promoter is a sequence within 3 kb upstream of TSS (transcription start site); 3′ end is the sequence within 1 kb downstream of TTS (transcription termination site); gene body is dissected into 5′UTR, CDS, intron and 3′UTR; intergenic is anything outside the above regions.
