Temporal traces (a,c,e,g) for the output intensity I=|A|2 and phase Φ=arg(A) and histogram N(μ) of the Floquet multipliers μ (b,d,f,h) in the cases of 1, 2, 3 and 6 Φ-bits. One notices that the number of neutral modes located in the vicinity of μ=1 increases linearly with the number of Φ-bits. The parameters are α=3, Δ=0.1, Y=2.9 × 10−2, η=5 × 10−3, Ω=0, k=1 and τ=2,000.
