(a,d) WB analysis of phospho-c-jun (p-c-jun). Stable expression of Frz8 in HepG2 cells (HepG2/Frz8) increased the level of p-c-jun, which was attenuated by LRP6N (1 μg ml−1), Frz8-CRD-IgG/Fc (CRD) (1 μg ml−1), JNK inhibitor (JNK/I) SP600125 (10 μM) (a) or CM containing E1-2, E3-4 or LDLR (d). Wnt5a further enhanced the level of p-c-jun, which was attenuated by CM containing E1-2, E3-4 or LDLR (d); n=3. (b,c,e) Photoimages of transwell analysis showed increased migrating cells in HepG2/Frz8 cells after 24 h, which was inhibited by LRP6N, CRD or JNK/I (b), or CM containing E1-2, E3-4 or LDLR pretreatment in the upper chamber for 2 h. Cell numbers were counted (c,e). Scale bar, 300 μm. Values represent mean±s.d. of three experiments.
