Real-time RT–PCR analysis of the indicated genes was performed on RNA extracted from strains overexpressing Ndd1, Cdh1^m11 and both. RNA was extracted from samples at time 0 and 1 h. Data are represented as relative expression of each gene at time 0 (taken as 1.0) and are shown as mean of at least two independent experiments performed in duplicates each. Error bars represent s.d. of at least four samples. (a) Analysis of genes previously reported to be transcribed by Ndd1 and of genes whose promoter is bound by Ndd1 (ref. 37).
