(b) Rab1bWT (WT-wild type; expected size without modification 22,365 Da) was not modified by aGTP even though it contains three cysteines. (c) In contrast, the mutant proteins Rab1bE35C, Rab1bL125C and Rab1bK153C (expected sizes without modification 22,339, 22,355 and 22,340 Da, respectively) were all modified to form the covalent aGDP adducts.
