Abstract
WE wish to report studies on the relationship between the antibody responses in different strains of mice, using a newly developed immunoplaque assay. Our method permits direct enumeration of antibody plaque forming cells (p.f.c.) to distinct somatic antigens of Vibrio cholerae bacilli, rather than mere demonstration of serum antibody titres. We found that the immune response of mice to two different antigens present on cholera organisms does not seem to depend on the presence of any particular allele of the H2 locus.
