Immunological B Memory in Thymus Deprived Mice

Abstract

COOPERATION between B and T lymphocytes has been documented in a number of humoral immune responses1, but the nature of the cooperative process is not exactly understood. Nor can any clear delineation be given of the manner in which immunological memory, particularly that which involves B cells2–4, is built up, although it is generally assumed to involve cell proliferation.
