Accepting Site for Aminoacylation of tRNAPhe from Yeast

Abstract

Yeast phenylalanine tRNA can be prepared with two modifications at the C-C-A terminal. The modified species can be used to show that aminoacylation takes place exclusively at the 2′-hydroxyl group of the native molecule.
