(b) Expression levels of lncRNAs are typically lower than those of protein-coding genes. (c) Lower expression is typical in all samples, and more abundant genes have comparatively higher expression. (d) Distribution of abundance of lncRNAs and protein-coding genes in TCGA prostate cancer samples. The y axis is limited to a maximum of 1,000 genes.
