Reversal of SNI in male mutant mice (Bdnf−/−) in which central nervous system microglial BDNF is deleted following tamoxifen (TMX) treatment, but not male Bdnf+/+ or female mice of both genotypes. Repeated measures ANOVA revealed a significant sex x genotype x repeated measures interaction: F5,65 = 3.1, p=0.01.
