Abstract
A simple ball milling route to the tetrayanoborate anion is presented: The K[B(CN)4] synthesis is one fine example, how a synthesis problem based on solubility may be solved by a ball milling approach. The solid state 13C- and 11B-MAS-NMR spectra have been recorded.
