OSM induces EMT in breast cancer cells and enhances cell migration and invasion. (a) MCF-7 cells were treated with 10 ng/ml OSM and the expression levels of E-cadherin, fibronectin, vimentin, ZEB1 and Snail were analyzed by western blot at the indicated time points. (b) MCF-7 cells were treated with phosphate-buffered saline or 10 ng/ml of OSM for 5 days. The expression levels of E-cadherin and fibronectin were examined by immunofluorescence/confocal microscopy.
