Unsupervised hierarchical clustering of DNA methylation. The 5000 loci with the most variable DNA methylation were used to explore DNA methylation changes in the 30 samples studied. The malignant (black) samples form a major cluster of the three clusters (a–c), the malignant (black) samples form a major cluster (a), largely due to the Group A loci that appear strikingly less methylated in the malignant samples, and a less striking distinction of infected from control samples.
