CLEC14A–MMRN2–CD248 co-localization can be observed in human pancreatic cancer. Human pancreatic cancer sections were stained with antibodies against CD248 (green), CLEC14A (red) and MMRN2 (blue), Hoescht was used to visualize nuclei (grey). (a) CD248-positive cells (likely pericytes) are in close proximity to CLEC14A- and MMRN2-positive endothelial cells. This revealed co-localization of CLEC14A and MMRN2 in association with CD248-positive cells. Dotted lines highlight areas that have been enlarged (i and ii). Scale bars, 50 μm.
