  1. Female RCC patients with a G/G SNP309 genotype (median age 59.5 years) were diagnosed 13.5 years earlier than the T/T females (median age 73 years), a difference that was statistically significant.
  2. The significance of different genotype distributions among the patient groups was calculated by the two-sided exact χ2-test using IBM SPSS Statistics 20 software (SPSS-Science, Chicago, IL, USA). P-values <0.05 were regarded as significant.
