Absorption of Hydrogen by Palladium/Rhodium Alloys and the Possible Existence of β-phase Rhodium Hydride

Abstract

AS usually prepared by arc melting, the Pd/Rh series of alloys approximates to a continuous series of substitutional solid solutions1. Exercising caution, this allows measurements obtained for compositions within the series to be extrapolated to give information at one end or the other.
