Is severe Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) associated with cardiovascular Instability and Increased cardiovascular support? 58

Hypothesis:Severe ROP is associated with transcutaneous oxygen variability in the first week of life (Lancet 1995;346:1464-65). Is this in itself related to cardiovascular instability?

Study/Setting:Retrospective review of mean arterial blood pressure (mbp) and heart rate (hr) values recorded by a computer network each minute in a tertiary neonatal unit.
