Background. High-dose intravenous methotrexate has been used as a therapeutic strategy in osteosarcoma for 20 years. Cerebral neurotoxicity may occur and acute arachnoiditis and subacute encephalitis have been reported. So far little is known about the effects upon cerebral hemodynamics.
