Protectin DX (5 µg/kg) was injected into the caudal veins of Sprague-Dawley rats 8 h after LPS (14 mg/kg) stimulation; the rats were ventilated for 60 min, and the right lung tissues were harvested to measure the protein expression levels of the sodium channel α, β, and γ subunits (a, b, c) and Na, K-ATPase α1 and β1 subunits (d, e) by western blotting. In addition, the Na, K-ATPase activity in the lung tissue homogenates was detected by kits (f). The data are presented as the mean ± SD. n = 8. PDX protectin DX.
