A PPARγ agonist reversed the decreased incisor eruption resulting from environmental circadian disruption in mice. Eight-week-old female mice were randomly divided into three groups: 12 h light/12 h dark + solvent (control); circadian disruption + solvent (disturbance); and circadian disruption + RGZ (RGZ + disturbance). DMSO (10%) in ddH2O served as a solvent. RGZ (PPARγ agonist rosiglitazone) was administered at 10 mg·kg−1 in solvent. Small dimples were created on the labial enamel surface of the alveolar bone crest, and the amount of lower incisor eruption was measured after 1 week. The length between the top and bottom yellow arrows indicates the amount of lower incisor eruption. The RGZ+ disturbance group showed comparable incisor eruption to that in the control group and significantly increased incisor eruption compared with that in the disturbance group (n = 6). *P < 0.05; **P < 0.01
