Functional analysis of NS-SV-AC spheroids cultured for 14 days in AGHA hydrogels. Cells and spheroids were stimulated with isoprenaline, and the amylase activity was measured by colorimetric assay. The amylase activity was reported as nmol/mL per min (milliunits), where one unit is the amount of amylase that cleaves ethylidene-pNP-G7 to generate 1.0 μmole of p-nitrophenol per minute at 25 °C.
