A, B Real-time PCR analysis of SNAIL, SLUG, ZEB1, and TWIST1 was performed with formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded normal parotid glands (n = 8) and PAs (n = 22). Among the four EMT-TFs, only SLUG was significantly upregulated in the normal tissues and PAs, and it was much higher in PAs than in normal salivary glands. The data are shown as the mean ± SD.
