Our Model suggests that downregulation of miR-15a-5p in ECD patients leads to  CXCL10 upregulation, which in turn increases MAPK-ERK (cascade) levels, thereby upregulating Lin28a expression. Consequently, let-7 family members are downregulated, enhancing the survival of aberrant cells.
