The distributions of electric (a, c) and magnetic (b, d) radiative LDOS are presented for radiation in the direction of the NSOM tip (a, b) and the substrate (c, d). Experimental ELDOS (e) and MLDOS (f) for electric (green lines) and magnetic (blue lines) excitations, starting from the center of the nanodisk to its edge. Experimental curves are obtained by averaging the LDOS provided in Fig. 3e–h in a circular pattern from the center of the nanodisk to increase the signal-to-noise ratio.
