Unsupervised t-distributed stochastic neighbor embedding for all cases (n = 1303). The tissue origin is annotated by color. Distinct clusters representing pulmonary adenocarcinomas, colorectal adenocarcinomas and upper gastrointestinal adenocarcinomas can be observed with small overlaps between the pulmonary and the upper gastrointestinal adenocarcinoma cluster as well as the colorectal and the upper gastrointestinal adenocarcinoma cluster. All pulmonary enteric adenocarcinomas and metastatic colorectal cancers are assigned to the correct clusters
