Renal survival of patients with microangiopathy and C4d. All patients with IgA nephropathy or IgA vasculitis with nephritis were divided into three groups based on the presence or absence of microangiopathy and C4d. Patients in which microangiopathy and C4d were both present had significantly lower renal survival than patients in which C4d and microangiopathy were both absent (p = 0.001)
