Metastatic melanoma can display high nuclear grade, intranuclear inclusions, frequent mitotic activity, and melanin pigment (A). Melanomas are negative for pan-cytokeratin (Cam5.2) (B), but can show diffuse labeling for cytoplasmic HMB45 (C), nuclear MITF (D), cytoplasmic and nuclear S-100 (E), and nuclear Sox10 (F).
