(a, b) A case of melanoma metastasis within a lymph node that was appropriately highlighted as SOX10-positive. (c, d) A case of melanoma with features of superficial spreading and nevoid types. Melanocytic nests were highlighted by the SOX10 vIHC. (e, f) A case of basal cell carcinoma that was shown to be void of melanocytes using a Melan-A stain. vIHC erroneously highlighted a population of lymphocytes near the bottom of the image (white arrows).
