Spanning reads identified by the targeted RNA-seq sarcoma fusion panel support the presence of an MXD4-NUTM1 fusion. The column in the middle of the reads and the labeling at the bottom of the figure show where exon 5 of the MXD4 gene (transcript NM_00645) is joined to exon 3 of the NUTM1 gene (transcript NM_001284292). There were 124 supporting reads for the fusion, which is predicted to be in-frame.
