Mean (SE) Yale-Brown obsessive-compulsive scale (Y-BOCS) and mean (SE) dimensional Yale-Brown obsessive-compulsive scale (DY-BOCS) scores for the sham treatment and active treatment groups during the first 12 months of follow-up (double-blind phase). The mean Y-BOCS scores decreased 36.9% in the active treatment group and 7.4% in the sham group (P = 0.04988). The median DY-BOCS scores decreased 40.7% in the active group and 8.9% in the sham group (P = 0.01)(modified from Lopes et al.) [25]
