The expansion of CD8 TVM cell after helminth infection is independent of cognate antigen. OT-I TCR transgenic cells were transferred intravenously into CD45.1+ congenic B6 mice. One day later the recipient mice either remained uninfected or were infected with Hp. Two weeks later, host T cells (CD8α+CD45.1+) and OT-I cells (CD8α+CD45.2+Vα2+Vβ5+) in the mesLN were analyzed as described in Fig. 2. Data are representative of two independent experiments with three to four mice per group. Error bars depict the SEM. ***P < 0.001 by Student’s t test
