On TNF-α stimulation, the TNF-α receptor is activated, followed by the activation of TAK1, which is the crucial pivot for the important intersection of the NF-κB pathway activation. Thereafter, the activation of the IKK complex and subsequent degradation of IκBα via the phosphorylation catalytic subunit IKKβ are activated.
