  1. Note: The means (M) presented in this table are the sample means; SD = standard deviation; N/A = not applicable. To identify differences among the characteristics of the groups, one-way ANOVA (for continuous variables) and Fisher’s exact test (for categorical variables) were used. We tested for differences among the three groups on the demographic characteristics and for differences between the two depressed groups on the clinical characteristics. Correction for multiple comparisons was performed using the False Discovery Rate (FDR) method described by Benjamini and Hochberg [32].
