A Contingency awareness self-report demonstrated significantly greater shock expectancy after CS+ compared to CS− at end of acquisition. There were no significant differences at the end of extinction. B Skin conductance showed a similar pattern of effects, with significant differences between CS+ and CS− during acquisition, and no significant differences during extinction and extinction recall.
