Chou and Talalay algorithm [74], included in the freely available CompuSyn software, was used to determine the nature of the interaction between the chemotherapeutic drug and FPPa-OmoMYC. Drugs were combined in constant ratios and the combination index (CI) value was determined. CI < 1 means synergism, CI = 1 means additivism and CI > 1 means antagonism. Values shown are mean ± SD from biological triplicate samples
