Retraction to: Oncogene https://doi.org/10.1038/s41388-018-0628-y, published online 10 December 2018
The Editors-in-Chief have retracted this article after publication irregularities were spotted in the following figures:
In figure 1H there is overlap between the image of pEGFP-c1-YAP1 invasion image and the pEGFP-c1-YAP1 migration image.
In figure 4A at 0h the control image and the YAP1 image are identical.
In figure 7E there is overlap between the image of MALAT1 MT (miR-126-5p) and the figure 7G image of si-MALAT+miR126-5p inh.
The Editors-in-Chief have therefore lost confidence in the reliability of the results presented in this article.
Zhenqiang Sun has not explicitly stated whether they agree to this retraction notice. Chunlin Ou, Jinbo Liu, Chen Chen, Quanbo Zhou, Shuaixi Yang, Guiyuan Li, Guixian Wang, Junmin Song, Zhen Li, Zhiyong Zhang, Weitang Yuan and Xiayu Li have not responded to any correspondence from the editor/publisher about this retraction.
