From the cBioPortal database, we obtained information from ZNRF3-mutant colorectal tumors about APC, CTNNB1, AXIN1, AXIN2, RNF43 and BRAF mutation status, in addition to CRC tumor location and MSI-status. Only tumors with missense ZNRF3 variants shown to be defective in our analysis were included, in addition to all CRCs carrying truncating ZNRF3 mutations. CRCs only carrying ZNRF3 mutations are indicated with a dark-green color. For each additional β-catenin related gene, we have indicated whether the mutation is expected to strongly impair protein function or only partially, using a dark-orange or light-golden color coding, respectively. A more extensive description for the criteria used to generate this Figure is provided in Supplementary Table 1.
