Whole-genome phylogeny assessed as in Fig. 1. Tree scale represents estimated site divergence and green dots indicate branching calculated with bootstrapped confidence > 75%. Completeness (yellow) and contamination (red) were estimated with CheckM 1.0.13. Genome abundance calculated by alignment of quality-filtered reads against refined genomes and GTDB reference genomes using BBMap 38.22 and retaining targets > 0.5% coverage (blue). Abundance counts normalized using feature scaling between 0 and 1 for each genome.
