Line colors corresponded to the Mantel’s r statistic for the distance correlations, and line widths denoted the statistical significance based on 999 permutations. Pairwise comparisons of environmental factors with a color gradient denoting Pearson’s correlation coefficient and p values were shown in the circles (*p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001).
