A–C SLC39A8-p.393T knock-in did not affect body length and weight. D SLC39A8-p.393T knock-in did not affect brain weight. E–G SLC39A8-p.393T knock-in did not affect cadmium, manganese and iron concentration in brain tissues. H SLC39A8-p.393T knock-in resulted in down-regulation of zinc concentration in brain tissues. I SLC39A8-p.393T knock-in resulted in up-regulation of zinc concentration in blood. J–O SLC39A8-p.393T knock-in did not affect calcium concentration, glucose, cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL-C and LDL-C. Two-tailed Student’s t-test was used for statistical test.
