Publishing clinical images

Whether you are writing an article intended for publication, or submitting a paper to an academic journal, there are basic requirements for publishing an image of a patient:

    You will need the patient's valid consent

    You own the copyright of the image or have purchased a licence to use it

    The quality of the image must be suitable.
