With the turmoil caused by the pandemic, the mini budget of 2022, rising energy prices and the continuing war in Ukraine, the economic landscape has seen some seismic changes over the last few years, all out of its control. But how has all this affected the practice sales market? Practice Plan Sales and Marketing Director, Nigel Jones and MD of Frank Taylor and Associates, Lis Hughes, discuss.
'I've watched FTA grow since I joined Practice Plan in 2008 and it's been an ever-changing world during that time' Nigel said. 'Today is no different; we find ourselves in the midst of a great deal of turmoil and uncertainty at the moment. Somewhere I have noticed a marked change is in the current dental market. I've seen instances of practice sales where things have been going through the long process of due diligence and then the purchaser coming back and reducing their offer and the whole sale falling through leaving the vendor back at square one.'
