The key to managing and resolving a non-payment dispute in a dental practice is a mixture of having well drafted policies in place, staff members with excellent communication skills and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

To avoid issues arising with patients which may lead to the non-payment of fees, it is worthwhile considering prevention strategies. It is always worthwhile investing time, at the outset, before treatment commences, ensuring the patient understands and agrees to the fees and payment terms as part of the treatment plan.
