For 9 d, RAW 264.7 cells were cultured with and without medium containing 1α,25(OH)2D3. TRAP-positive multinucleated (more than three nuclei) cells were counted in ten different visual fields (magnification × 200) of each well through light microscopy. Significant differences were assessed by a paired t test: ***p < 0.001.
