Three-point bending assay was performed on isolate femur bones of wild-type (WT) and transgenic mice, and stiffness (a), yield force (b), elastic modulus (c), and fracture strength (d) were determined. Stiffness and yield force were reduced in ovariectomized Δ130–136, while elastic modulus and fracture strength were not altered or increased, respectively.
