Integrative analysis of 16S microbiome and LC-MS metabolome. Integrative analysis of 16S microbiome and LC-MS metabolome was performed using a customized gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA) method. Metabolites obtained by LC-MS were significantly enriched in (a) amino acid biosynthesis and (b) aminoacyl-tRNA charging using the predicted metagenome of 16S rRNA gene dataset (P < 0.05).
