The fit measurement model with the sample is excellent which confirms that the trust scale is both an internally consistent latent variable and also a distinct construct from other variables including dental anxiety, shame and communication processes (comparative fit index = 0.996; Tucker-Lewis index = 0.995; root mean square error of approximation = 0.018 [95% CI: 0.016, 0.020]). Alpha coefficient for trust factor is 0.75
