During the TGFβ1-induced dedifferentiation, OS cells acquired stem-cell-like phenotypes, along with elevated expression level of Sox2 and miR-34a. miR-34a could downregulate PAI-1, which in turn suppressed Sox2 expression level to repress the dedifferentiation of OS
