A Schematic representation of the experimental workflow used in vivo. Mice were intracecally injected with luciferase (Luc) expressing HCT-116 cells, control (sh-NT) and silenced for p27 (sh-p27). Once tumor onset was established, mice were randomly subdivided and treated 5 days/week with vehicle or Palbo for 4 weeks. Luc activity was evaluated to monitor tumor growth.
