Indicated 8–12-weeks-old male mice underwent bilateral kidney IRI as demonstrated in Fig. 1. 48 h following the onset of reperfusion, serum creatinine (A) and serum urea (B) concentrations were measured and mice were sacrificed. Kidneys were PAS-stained and two representative magnifications are demonstrated in C and quantified using the tubular damage score D. Statistical analysis was performed using one-way ANOVA analysis (p-values are indicated for each experiment).
